Company questions
What's the difference between an administrator and a manager?

Field users: Do checks, report accidents and concerns, read and sign documents, and complete their tasks on phone or desktop. Included in the band price, with no charge per worker. Manager seat: Runs the day to day: maintains the people register, assesses incidents, assigns and closes tasks, reviews reports, publishes documents and checks, and uses site dashboards. No billing or access control; company settings and branding belong to the administrator. Administrator seat: Everything a manager does, plus sign-in access, company settings, branding, billing and modules. One administrator is included in every company band. Leadership viewers: Read-only dashboards and board reports. Free.

How do I get help?

Email hello@oberoncompliance.com, answered by Oberon's own team. Support hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm UK time, excluding UK bank holidays. First reply target: within 2 working days. Anything stopping work on site: cannot sign in, SOS or roll call not working, data missing or wrong, or payment blocking access. First reply target: the same working day if raised before 3pm, otherwise by midday the next working day. These are response targets, not guarantees. Safety emergencies are never handled by support - always call 999. Direct clients and partners contacting Oberon use these targets. Partner-hosted clients contact their partner first.

Do directors need to pay for a login?

No. Leadership viewers are free and don't count towards your people.

Can we bring our existing documents across?

Yes. Convert your PDFs into editable Oberon documents, and store certificates and manuals in your company documents.

What if our team grows?

Add people any time. Your price moves to the next band on your next invoice.

Can I invite my whole team at once?

Yes. Paste rows from Excel or upload a spreadsheet, check every row before sending, and each person gets their own sign-in invite. Pending invites count towards your paid manager and administrator seats, and workers are always free.

Is Building works an extra cost?

No. Building works is included in every company plan, including companies hosted by a partner. Contractors you send jobs to receive and work them free.

What is CDM Lite?

For small repairs and short jobs with one contractor and below the F10 thresholds. You send a short job ticket, the contractor returns a short construction phase plan, does the work and closes it out with photos.

What is Full CDM?

For bigger or notifiable projects. Oberon records the written principal designer and principal contractor appointments, prompts the F10 notice, builds the pre-construction information and construction phase plan, and tracks competence, welfare and the health and safety file stage by stage.

Before you sign up.

How does the free trial work?

You get 7 days of the full package you build. A card is needed to start, and you can cancel any time before the trial ends without being charged.

Do prices include VAT?

Prices are shown without VAT, with the price including VAT at 20% right beside them. VAT is its own line on every invoice.

Will my price go up?

Your price is fixed for 12 months from sign-up. After that it may be reviewed once a year, with at least 60 days' written notice, and you can cancel before any rise takes effect.

Can I change my package later?

Yes. Add or remove people and add-ons whenever you like. Changes show on your next invoice.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Oberon works in the browser on any phone, tablet or laptop, and can be added to the home screen like an app.
